New resource: Access government policy documents with Overton
23/11/2023

Following a successful trial earlier this year, Library Services has now set up a subscription to Overton.
Overton contains over 7 million policy documents and guidelines from over 31,000 organisations across 180+ countries.
The database includes grey literature from leading global universities, research funders, NGOs, publishers, and think tanks, as well as government reports and legislation. Overton is particularly helpful for searching literature from regions of the world which are under-represented in many of our databases.
Researchers will also be interested in the ability to track the influence of both grey and academic literature on creating government policy documents at both local and international levels.
Tell us what you think!
If you have any questions about using Overton, or have any trouble accessing it, please email us at library@cranfield.ac.uk.
