Stay in the know with new engineering newsfeeds from Knovel!
27/07/2023

If you have never investigated it before, Knovel is a handy resource created for engineers by engineers.
A new Engineering Newsfeeds feature has been added which makes it easy to keep track of industry news. Just choose the newsfeeds you are interested in, decide how frequently you wish to receive the updates to your email (either daily or weekly), then sit back and wait for the news to come to you!
The industries covered are: aerospace, chemicals, civil engineering, energy, environment, food science and manufacturing, materials, mining, packaging, renewable energy, and science. You can expand each one to receive more focused content:

The expanded categories within the Aerospace subject heading
This is what you see when you receive the email. Clicking on the title takes you to the original source:

Setting up the newsfeeds is straightforward, but if you have any questions, please feel free to contact your librarian, who will be very happy to help you.
If you haven’t explored Knovel before, it’s well worth a look. Find the link on our website, either through the A-Z listing, or your subject or course listing. It contains engineering eBooks, materials and chemical property data, engineering equations and solvers, case studies, encyclopaedia and dictionary entries, to name a few. Your Librarian can help you if you have any questions and you can take a look at the Knovel Quick Start guide.
