Logistics in Thailand

This afternoon we dried off, after a quick dip in the pool after lunch, to head off to SCG Logistics.
We had a really interesting tour around the facility and had the opportunity to ask questions to gain a better insight into the operations and some of the challenges they face. Their AR-AS system was very impressive, they had a large variety of heavy, and difficult to handle products, which makes picking and storage more challenging.
They also developed numerous systems to provide real time delivery information, including proof of delivery and associated performance metrics to run the business.
A very enjoyable visit, even in 40 degrees heat.
