Mintel
Mintel market reports offer a consumer-focused overview of various markets and industries in the UK. Mintel provides excellent coverage of the sector in the UK, with its quarterly published Digital Trends reports. Reports provide insights into the trends in purchase of consumer technology products.
Anything else I should know?
Users must accept Mintel’s Conditions of Use to access the site. Reports updated every 12-24 months.
FitchConnect
FitchConnect (under the heading of BMI) includes reports and daily analysis on 200 countries and regions of the world. Use the ‘Sectors’ option at the top of the screen to view all content on Consumer Electronics. Country reports on that sector include a country-specific SWOT analysis and forecasts, along with information on major players.
Use the ‘Interactive Charts’ option from the ‘Data Tools’ tab to download industry specific data, such as number of tablet and smartphone sales.

Passport
For most countries, Passport includes reports, analysis, and opinion on the consumer electronics industry as a whole, including Wearable Electronics, Computers and Peripherals, Imaging Devices and more. A quick search for ‘digital consumer’ in the search box will find reports on Digital Consumer Trends and Profiles, as well as country-specific reports. Reports may include an overview of the local market including key trends, market background, business and operational environment, market indicators and data. You will also find links to related reports and statistics displayed on screen.
