How do I reference… in the Cranfield Author-date style? Part 1
22/01/2019
We thought you might find it helpful to see a list of all our previous blog posts that explain how to reference particular types of resource in the Cranfield Author-date style.
In this post we link to our advice for all the traditional resource types you might reference in your assignments or thesis.
Next week, in Part 2, we will list all the less common types (such as data, charts and diagrams), along with more recent resources such as web pages, social media and YouTube videos.
How do I reference…
- …a book?
- …a book chapter?
- …a book review?
- …a journal article?
- …a conference paper?
- …a working paper?
- …a thesis?
- …a newspaper article?
- …a case study?
- …a market research report?
- …financial reports and data?
- …a British standard?
- …multiple items by the same author?
Any questions?
As always, if you have any questions about referencing or citations, please contact MIRC or the Kings Norton Library.
