Finding a share prospectus in Capital IQ
14/04/2022

When you are researching an equity offering, one of the key items you will need is the prospectus, also known as the offer document or listing particulars. It is a legally-specified document, filed by the company, which contains the information an investor needs to make an informed investment decision.
Share prospectuses can be found in Capital IQ . Here’s a quick guide to how to find them…
You will first need to set up an account in order to access Capital IQ. If you haven’t already done this, this blog post explains the process.
- Type your company name or ticker into the search box at the top of the Capital IQ screen. Filings can be accessed from the left hand menu under the News, Events and Filings heading.

- Select ‘Filings and Annual reports’ and then select the ‘Prospectuses’ tab to see all the share prospectuses for the company of your choice.

Any questions about where to find the filings you need, please contact MIRC.
