Academic English is no-one’s first language!
18/10/2022

Did you know that we offer language support for students who would like to improve their written and spoken academic English?
The overall aim is to develop the language skills required for postgraduate study in the UK. It’s suitable for anyone, whether you are a taught or research student, and whether you want a skills refresher or a simple confidence boost. Our team of academic English tutors are here to help you improve your verbal and written communication skills.
Check out the range of online and in-person support options provided free, including interactive small group workshops, 1-2-1 tutorial appointments, and a drop-in service in Kings Norton Library and MIRC. Visit the Academic English support page to find out more, browse our range of upcoming events on academic styles and writing skills, or email EnglishSupport@cranfield.ac.uk.
There is also a collection of interactive learning resources available on our Study Skills Hub if you would prefer some self-paced online learning.
