Whether you have already arrived at Cranfield or are looking at starting a course in the future there are many aspects of your journey to a Cranfield degree we may be able to help with.

Student Immigration and Funding are here for all of your funding and visa needs. Before you arrive it is important to thoroughly research these important steps. We help many students after they have arrived and started a course. Whether that be to extend a visa, change visa category, complete your studies early or change your course, we are here to help. We can also advise on StartUp visas, the new Graduate Route visa, as well as the Schengen visa. Come to see us if you have a student loan and need to make changes to your study. We also look after funding for student mobility such as Erasmus+ and Santander Mobility Awards. If we can’t answer your question, we will always try our best to point you in the right direction!

We understand that arriving to a new place can be very daunting and you may have queries about your visa such as how many hours you are eligible to work or if you can travel to another country. As a Student visa holder, it is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with the terms of your stay in the UK. However, the Student Immigration and Funding team will help you if you are unsure of any of the requirements. During registration, you all should have received a guide to your Student visa responsibilities and some of you may even have seen us make a short presentation.

Whilst it is an exciting period, there is one important thing we would like to make you all aware of; unfortunately, scammers claiming to be the UKVI or other government bodies are targeting international students across the UK. They take a very threatening tone and quite commonly refer to paperwork that you have not completed and if you do not pay a fine, they will immediately come to take you away. Government authorities would never call and ask for money so if you receive a call of this nature hang up immediately and contact us. The UK Government has advice on their website to avoid fraud, tricks and scams.
