How do I access the full-text of Harvard Business Review (HBR)?

This is a frequently asked question, and it’s worth knowing how to access this key management journal.
So, how do you access HBR in full-text? The short answer is via our eJournals finder. You can find eJournals Finder on our homepage, beneath the Library Search box.
- Type Harvard Business Review into the search box and select it from the dropdown list
- The results list will give you a link to the database where you can find the full-text of HBR – in this case, Business Source Ultimate. You can also see the dates of HBR that we have available – in this case, we have access to every issue since its inception in 1922.
- Click on the link to be taken directly to the HBR entry in Business Source Ultimate.
- From here, you can search by date, which will give you volume and issue number options, or you can use the search box to search within HBR for author, title or subject keyword. Choose which works best for the information that you have.
So, using this method, you should be able to access and read the full-text of every HBR article ever published!

NB If you are looking for an article from the Digital Articles edition of the HBR then this is treated as a separate journal, so look for it in eJournals finder as Harvard Business Review Digital Articles.
