Study in the UK with a Cranfield University GREAT Scholarship
14/04/2021
Cranfield University has partnered with the British Council to offer more scholarships than ever under the GREAT Scholarship scheme in 2021. We are excited to participate in the scheme in 10 countries to give 18 students a chance at a Cranfield degree as a GREAT Scholar. The scholarship contributes £10,000 toward the cost of your tuition fees. So, what is it like to study at Cranfield with a GREAT Scholarship? See what Meenakshi thinks.
You can find out more about Cranfield University and how to apply for the GREAT Scholarship from the British Council webinar which was held on Wednesday 21 April 2021. Follow this link to view the recording – Cranfield is the first featured University.
Visit our website to see which countries are eligible at Cranfield University. To be able to apply for the scholarship you must have an offer of admission in a full-time Masters course that starts in 2021. Applications will close on 1 May 2021 so make sure you don’t miss this chance and submit your scholarship application before the deadline.
Not all courses at Cranfield are included in each of the scholarships so how can you see which ones are? To check – go to the bottom of the relevant GREAT Scholarship page for your country and look for the Apply Now button. Click on this button to see the online application form for the scholarship, about halfway down the application form there will be a section for your course and a dropdown selection box. The courses in the dropdown box are the only courses eligible for the scholarship for your country. If your course is present and you have an offer of admission then you are able to go ahead and submit your scholarship application online.
To apply for the scholarship, you will need to upload a Justification for Support and this is your chance to stand out from the crowd and tell us all the reasons you should get the scholarship. Make sure you keep your submission to about one page which will show the effectiveness of your communication skills. We want you to give us some examples of how you have demonstrated leadership ability in the past and we also want to hear about all the great things you want to do in your career when you have a Cranfield degree behind you. Di Liu was a GREAT Scholar at Cranfield University in 2019 – hear about why she chose to study at Cranfield University.
For any questions about the GREAT Scholarship at Cranfield University please contact us at studentfunding@cranfield.ac.uk and we look forward to receiving your applications.
