Finding full-text Economist articles…
25/01/2023
If you’re looking for The Economist, the place to go is ProQuest One Business. Follow these step-by-step instructions to get full-text access.
Login here and click on the Publications option at the top, above the search box.
On the Publication Search screen, type “the economist” into the search box, leaving the field selector menu as ‘in title’, then click to search. As you can see, you have access to various publications with titles including the phrase “the economist”.
Scroll down for the ‘original’ Economist! You have the choice of full-text for both the printed magazine and for the online version. Select the title you require by clicking on it.
You will then be taken to the journal ‘homepage’ on ProQuest. Here you can select to search either within the full publication – or even within a particular issue – using the search boxes provided, or you can browse your way to the issue you require using the options beneath.
As always, if you have any questions on accessing individual journals or searching in general, please contact MIRC.
