Self-service machine installed at Barrington Library
20/11/2023
We’re delighted to announce that self-service is now available in all our University libraries.
The equipment was installed in Barrington Library last week and is now fully operational. You can use your Cranfield ID card or library card to borrow, return, and renew items. You can now also use the Library app to borrow items directly from the shelves if you prefer.
The machine also has integrated lockers so you can pick up items you have reserved. Simply select ‘Barrington Library’ as your Pickup library when you are placing a reservation and we will send you an email when your item is ready for collection.
Please do ask a member of staff if you have any questions using self-service and we will be happy to help you. Library cards are available on request from the Barrington Library Welcome Desk. Alternatively, you can easily access your library barcode on the Library app.
