Although the 2017/18 academic year seems a long time away, there are a number of international scholarships at Cranfield that will soon close for applications. Make sure you check these options out so you don’t miss out on a chance to fund your study.
The Student Funding Team is here for all of your student funding needs and questions and is part of the Student Immigration and Funding Office. We can help home and international students to pay for the cost of their course at Cranfield University. Whether that be a Cranfield bursary, international scholarship, student loans or Government loans, we are here to help.
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships
Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are jointly funding by Cranfield University and the UK Department for International Development. Applications for Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are due to open in mid-November. For the 2017/18 academic year there are two courses at Cranfield that are eligible for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship. They are MSc International Defence and Security and MSc Advanced Mechanical Engineering. If you are studying any other Masters course at Cranfield you can still apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship by applying to be nominated by the national agency in your home country, please see the details below.
Commonwealth Scholarships
Commonwealth Scholarships for Master’s and PhD study in the UK are offered for citizens of developing Commonwealth countries.
Please note that you must also apply to the national agency in your home country to be nominated. Each nominating body is responsible for its own selection process.
You can apply for a Commonwealth Scholarship for the following levels of study:
- Master’s (one-year courses only)
- PhD
All subject areas are eligible, although the CSC’s selection criteria give priority to applications that demonstrate the strongest relevance to development.
