Borrow fiction and non-fiction books online – for free!
19/12/2022
We have just subscribed to Libby for all University staff and students.
Libby is an app that provides access to a host of fiction and non-fiction books and audiobooks online. It complements our existing printed leisure collection, with the bonus of a host of foreign language titles, and you can access it from anywhere at any time! Just download the app onto your phone, tablet, laptop or other device and log in using your Cranfield University username and password.
You can borrow up to two books at a time and the loan period is 14 days. You can borrow a maximum of three eBooks and three audiobooks per month. You can also place up to three reservations at the same time. It is completely free to use. There are no subscription costs (Library Services are paying those!), no in-app purchases, and no late fees.
How do I get started?
1. Download the Libby app from Google or Apple, or go to https://libbyapp.com/ to use Libby in a browser.
2. Find ‘Cranfield University’ in the list.
3. Enter your University username and password.
4. Start borrowing or browsing the digital library!
Please let us know what you think of the app and feel free to suggest other titles you would like us to add to the collection.
