Library postal and scanning services
09/12/2021
We know that staff and students based off-site have different needs to those on site. All three libraries offer postal and scanning services to help you access our books and other printed stock when you can’t come to us. They are available to registered part-time and online students, full-time students on a placement, and academic staff primarily based off campus.
Postal delivery and returns
We will post items to any UK or ROI address using the Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service, as long as you do not live locally. (Barrington Library will also post to BFPO addresses.) When you have finished reading them, you can also post them back to us free of charge.
Scanning
If you only need to read a single article, book chapter, or conference paper from our stock (and it isn’t available online), we can scan and email it to you. This means you can receive it even more quickly!
