Professor Simon Pollard is Pro-Vice Chancellor of Cranfield University’s School of Water, Energy and Power and Environment and Agrifood. He is an expert in risk science and practice, as well as being a Chartered Engineer, Chemist and Environmentalist, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management. He has twice been an author of Government guidelines in environmental risk management and has produced best practice guidance for the water sector on good risk governance.
