Using Zetoc Alert to keep up-to-date with your research interests
18/06/2014

Zetoc Alert is a current awareness service which provides access to the British Library’s Electronic Table of Contents database of over 29,000 journals and more than 52 million article citations and conference papers.
The service allows you to set up email alerts for individual journals or searches. Every time new content is added to the database, (for example the latest table of contents from your favourite journal), Zetoc will automatically email you. You can also set up Zetoc Alerts for articles written by particular authors or those which include specific keywords.
Cranfield users can access Zetoc Alert here (you will need to enter your CCNT username and password). You can also find a link to Zetoc on MIRC’s A to Z of Electronic business resources.
Whether you are looking to keep up-to-date with your research interests or would like to be emailed the contents of your chosen journals when new issues are available, Zetoc Alert is definitely worth a look! The Zetoc Alert service is only one of the many ways you can set up alerts and keep up-to-date with your research interests. Watch this space for more examples!
If you need any help setting up a Zetoc Alert, please get in touch or pop by and see us in MIRC.
