Relaunching our library websites this August
26/07/2019

We are delighted to announce that we will be relaunching our new unified library website at the end of August.
We will be bringing together the content from all three existing library sites – Kings Norton Library, the MIRC and Barrington Library – and giving them a fresh look and feel. We have consulted with customers, and tested the new site on them, to make sure it is easy to find the information you need. It will also provide a more consistent ‘One University’ user experience as we currently maintain three sites with very different designs and layouts. Bringing our sites together will also improve the way we manage the content behind the scenes.
There will be separate landing pages for each of the three Libraries so they will retain their individual identities, and you will be able to easily access the resources and information that are most relevant to you.
We will be setting up redirects to the new landing pages and updating our links, so you should still access your Library site in the same way you do now. You will just notice that the design and layout has changed!
The new site will still be a work in progress, so if you have any questions or comments when you start using it, we would love to hear them. We’ll provide a feedback link on the homepage for you to use.
