New reading list software coming soon
30/07/2019

Throughout the summer, Library staff will be busy making your course reading materials available via our new reading lists system.
Students will be able to access them via their Course pages and Library pages as now, but the new system will provide an improved, more consistent experience across all course and types of content and has new interactive features.
You will easily see which titles are available both in print and online. Tutors will be able to add guidance notes to reading list items, and students will be able to use personalisation features to flag the items they want to read and add their own private notes.
The system will fully integrate with, and authenticate via, the VLE to library resources including the library catalogue and discovery services (Library Search).
Course staff will be able to easily create and update their reading lists throughout the year using a web ‘bookmarklet’ tool, and will also have greater insight into how students use and interact with their reading materials. The new system will also improve the acquisition process, enabling library staff to respond more quickly to requests for new materials.
More information will follow soon!
