Come to the open access drop-in – Friday 18 June
15/06/2021

Do you have any burning questions around making your publications or your data openly available? If you do, why not pop by our open access drop-in, running 1-2pm on Friday? We have organised this event to mark Open Access Week at the University.
You will have access to not one, not two, but THREE open research experts from the library service. Information Specialists Mandy Smith and Emma Turner will be there to advise you on any aspect of making your papers open. Greg Simpson, our resident specialist (nerd!) on making your data openly available will also be ready and waiting on a Teams call to answer your questions.
The drop-in will be informal and friendly, and you are not expected to stay for the whole hour that the call is scheduled. Just join the call at any time during the hour, and ask us your question. You can then leave and get on with the rest of your day, armed with the knowledge you need to make your research open.
Of course, we are always very happy to advise you on these topics at any time – you don’t need to wait for an event like this! Contact your research support expert (scroll down the page to the Research Support heading).
Click here for the link to the Teams call. (You will need to log in to the intranet.)
