Welcome to the Management Information and Resource Centre (MIRC)

Welcome to all our new students, both to Cranfield School of Management and to MIRC! We look forward to meeting you either online or in person at our welcome sessions.

MIRC resources

We are the Library service for Cranfield School of Management and you can access the majority of our research resources online from anywhere, at anytime via our website. Whether you are researching companies and industries, analysing countries and economies or looking for in-depth financials, MIRC is the place to start!

MIRC services

Our staff are here to help you. Please contact us with your questions on Staff are available to help 9am – 8pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am – 5pm on Friday, and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.

If we can’t answer your enquiry quickly by email we can arrange a video call with you via MS Teams or Zoom, whichever you prefer. Please do contact us if you would like to book some one-to-one support online.

MIRC inductions

Unfortunately we aren’t going to meet all of you in person for our MIRC induction sessions, so we have put together some exercises in Canvas for School of Management students.

They should give you a sample of the online resources we have and how to use them.

You will find them behind this tile on Canvas. Please do look out for them. If you have any questions at all, please contact us.

Make use of our eBook collections

Many of your reading list texts are available as eBooks. Use Library Search or the reading lists system to check if the item(s) you require for your modules are available online. Just click on the eBook link in the item record for full-text access.

Any questions?

You can find most things you might need to know on our website.

Anything we haven’t mentioned or you can’t find? Tell us! We are here to support you throughout your time at Cranfield so please shout when you need us!
