Welcome to the Management Information and Resource Centre (MIRC)
01/10/2020

Welcome to all our new students, both to Cranfield School of Management and to MIRC!
We are providing an online service at the moment. Your safety is our priority, and the Centre requires some changes before it is ready to use. We will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so, and we look forward to meeting you all properly then.
You can access the majority of our resources online from anywhere, at anytime from our website.

MIRC inductions
Unfortunately we aren’t going to meet all of you in person for our MIRC induction sessions – so we have put together some exercises in Canvas for School of Management students.
They should give you an idea of the kinds of online business resources we have available and how to find information within them.
You will find them behind this tile on Canvas when they go live this week. Please do look out for them. If you have any questions at all, please contact us.
Enquiry services
We are here to help you. Please contact us with all your questions on mirc@cranfield.ac.uk. We are available every weekday from 9am until 5pm and we will get back to you as quickly as we can.
If we can’t answer your enquiry quickly by email we can arrange a video call with you via MS Teams or Zoom, whichever you prefer. Please do contact us if you would like to book some one-to-one support online.
Make use of our eBook collections
Many of your reading list texts are available as eBooks. Use Library Search or the reading lists system to check if the item(s) you require for your modules are available online. Just click on the eBook link in the item record for full-text access.
Access our print collection via our Click and Collect service
Should the title(s) you need only be available in print, please find them in Library Search and click on ‘Reserve a copy’, then follow the instructions here to collect from Kings Norton Library.

Book a study space in Kings Norton Library
From 5 October, socially distanced study spaces can be booked at Kings Norton Library. Follow the links from Monday to book your space on our dedicated reopening web page.
Any questions?
You can find most things you might need to know on our website.
Anything we haven’t mentioned or you can’t find? Tell us! We are here to support you through your time at Cranfield so please shout when you need us!
