Accessing MIRC stock via Click and Collect

05/10/2020

Do you need MIRC books for your research? Did you know that, although MIRC currently remains closed, you can easily arrange to collect MIRC books from Kings Norton Library via our Click and Collect service. Read on for details…

Use Library Search as usual to look for the books you require. If there is no eBook for the title you need, you can simply reserve a MIRC copy for collection. Click on ‘Reserve a Copy’ in the Library Search interface.

‘Reserve a copy’ for click and collect

When the popup Reservation box appears, select the category of copy you require (please do not choose REF). Your Pickup Library will currently be Kings Norton Library. (The ‘Special Delivery’ option is available only to part-time students who live more than 10 miles from Cranfield).

Ensure you are NOT trying to reserve a REF (reference) item

When the item becomes available for you, we will contact you so you can book a collection slot at a convenient time. That’s it! Happy reading!

As time goes on and things change, you can keep up to date on our reopening on our dedicated reopening web page. Please be assured that MIRC will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so, and we look forward to seeing everyone again then.

If you have any questions about Click and Collect or any other aspect of our Library services, please do get in touch.
