Come and learn about Janes Defence Equipment and Technology! (Staff only)
17/05/2021

Are you studying or researching in the aerospace or defence fields?
Did you know we have access to Jane’s Defence Equipment and Technology? This great resource provides information and analysis on the air, land, naval and joint defence platforms, weapons, and systems in service and under development around the world. It also includes data analytics and specifications analysis.
If you didn’t know about Janes, why not come along to this session delivered by Sebastian Kidson, Customer Success Manager from Janes? If you are already a Janes user, we are sure you will find the session useful too. Sebastian’s time is dedicated to supporting users to find what they need, and to make the most out of the content they have access to. Janes can be a jungle of information and Sebastian is here to be your guide!
You will find out how to:
- Navigate through the content
- Find the information you need quickly
- Understand what Janes can do for you.
We have arranged two sessions, which will take place on Teams:
- Thursday 8 July, 1-2pm.
- Thursday 13 July, 1-2pm.
The sessions are open to all Cranfield staff. (Sessions for students have already taken place.) Please visit DATES to book your place. You only need to attend one session.
It’s not a prerequisite, although highly recommended, that prior to the session you request a Janes account by emailing libraryresources@cranfield.ac.uk.
