Some organisations that we work with have great free webinars coming up that researchers might find useful:
- Altmetric have a free webinar open to all: “Understand the full impact of your institution’s research” on 21 June 2018, 4pm (GMT). Sign up for this Altmetric webinar.
- Figshare are offering a webinar for their institutional customers (that’s us! They provide our CORD system) on scholarly communications on 27 June at 3pm. Sarah McAnulty is a squid biologist at the University of Connecticut, founder of Skype a Scientist, and science communicator. She’ll be presenting on her techniques for talking about her research and will provide some useful tips for how to communicate your own research. Register at figshare’s zoom webinar page. .
- The UK Data Service have a free webinar: “Research using youth and young adult data in Understanding Society” on 18 July 2018, 15.00 – 16.00 BST. Read more and register via the UKDS webinar page.
- Finally, not a webinar, but DataTree is a new NERC-funded online training course on research data management including data sharing and engagement. It’s aimed at PhD students and early career researchers but free and open to anyone, so try it out and see what you think!
Don’t forget we also run webinars and training ourselves at Cranfield University, sign up via the internal DATES system as usual.
