Finding out about journal rankings in business and management

With access to articles from over 18,000 business and management related journal titles, how do you begin to decide which are the most relevant journal titles to focus on?
One way is to use journal rankings lists to identify what are considered to be top rated journals. There are a number of different rankings of business and management journals for you to consider but two of the key ones are:
You will find that there is a great deal of consensus between these and other lists in terms of individual journal ratings although the systems used may vary. ABS includes a star rating and details of journal impact factors. The FT list is defined as “the 45 journals used by the Financial Times in compiling the Business School research rank”.
