Introducing… Datastream

Datastream is one of the world’s largest and most respected financial databases. It provides access to historical data across the full range of financial instruments globally – from companies, markets and economic indicators to commodities and derivatives. It also offers a wide range of reporting and charting tools.

If you’re a newcomer to Datastream, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of MIRC staff to request some introductory training.  The Thomson Reuters training website also provides training videos on using the service via both Datastream’s own Navigator interface and Microsoft Excel.

Detailed guides to using Datastream are available here:
Getting Started with Datastream
Datastream Advance for Office 5.1

24/7 access to Datastream is provided via PCs in MIRC and the School of Management Computer Studio.

If you would like to discuss whether Datastream would meet your research needs or to arrange a demonstration, please feel free to contact us.
