Change to Barrington Library’s opening hours
17/01/2023

From Monday 30 January, the Barrington Library on our Shrivenham site will close at 5pm every weekday. This is a temporary measure due to an unexpected staff vacancy and we will return to our usual 7pm closure Mondays to Thursdays as soon as new evening support staff are in place.
If you need somewhere to study in the evenings when the Library is closed, alternative space is available at Hobson Library in JSCSC. Remember that you can still access our online resources 24/7 via our website and speak to Cranfield Library Services staff online until 8pm Mondays to Thursdays if you need support. When Library staff are not available overnight and at weekends a team of global librarians are available to help whenever you need them via our webchat service.
And even better news – we’re working towards opening Barrington Library 24/7, with self-service facilities for borrowing and returning print stock, later in 2023.
