Executive Logistics and Supply Chain Management MSc study tour to Thailand – the last day’s impressions
14/05/2018
The company visits of the Executive Logistics and Supply Chain Management study tour 2018 are already over. But the last day was not just one out of five.
In the morning, we were invited to Ducati Thailand and were welcomed by the Managing Director and his pleasant and dynamic supply chain management team. At the first glance you could see the passion and dedication the entire company has to its products – high class motorbikes. Their values Style, Sophistication and Performance are not just nice words written down on a poster but you can actually feel what they mean.
The state-of-the-art production area amplified our impression and more than confirmed Ducati’s “Obsession for perfection, passion for the product”.
After gaining great insights to Ducati’s operations, we spent the day visiting the cultural treasures of Bangkok. Not only the sculptures and beautiful artwork but also the respect everyone showed towards the sights were impressive.
In the evening we had a great dinner in one of the many street food markets where you could find everything from pineapples to squid and ended the day with some cold drinks in a roof top bar with a unique view of Bangkok.
Now it is weekend and time to experience Bangkok’s nightlife. I am sure it will not be disappointing!
