Introducing… Sage Research Methods

19/05/2023

Starting your thesis or research project? Struggling with your research methodology?

Once you decide what data you need to collect for your project, you need to research the best techniques to collate and analyse it. Your choice of methodology should be supported by solid academic evidence. So whatever stage you’re at, we would recommend that you take a look at Sage Research Methods.

Describing itself as the “ultimate methods library”, Sage aims to guide researchers of all levels through the process, demystifying different research methods and giving step-by-step instructions on each through access to books and reference works, articles, case studies, videos, podcasts etc. You can browse by topic, discipline or content types, or search across all using keywords.

It’s our ‘go to’ resource for research methods questions – whether you want a quick and easy answer or a more in-depth exploration of a method. Access to Sage Research Methods is available both on- and off-campus via the link on the SOM Library website.

If you need any help using this service or would like to provide feedback on the service please contact the SOM Library.
