In January, I started a roving schedule – spending two hours each month visiting areas of the University used by staff from each of the research themes. This has proved a great way to be more visible and accessible, so research staff and students can ask questions at their convenience in a nice informal setting. Not to mention that taking a jar of CORD sweets made me quite popular!

Therefore I’m pleased to say that the roving schedule will continue (still with the CORD sweets), so please do swing by and say hello when I’m next in your area. Unfortunately there isn’t time to visit every building, but I am more than happy to organise drop-in sessions at other times so get in touch if you’d like me to visit! Here is my regular roving timetable with upcoming dates:

Shrivenham Campus

  • Slim Atrium, third Thursday of the month 12:00-14:00.
    • Dates: 20 July | 17 August | 21 September | 19 October | 16 November.
    • I’ll also be joined by an Information Specialist and a colleague from the Research and Innovation Office, in case you have questions to ask them, too!

Cranfield Campus

  • B111 first floor lounge, first Friday of the month 10:00-12:00

  • B52a first floor ziggurat, first Friday of the month 13:30-15:30
    • Dates: 7 July | 4 August | 1 September | 6 October | 3 November.
