Finding a share prospectus

When you are researching an equity offering, one of the key items you will need is the prospectus, also known as the offer document or listing particulars.  It is a legally-specified document, filed by the company, which contains the information an investor needs to make an informed investment decision.

Share prospectuses can be found in Thomson One . Here’s a quick guide to how to find them…

Thomson One

Please note that access to Thomson One is currently only accessible from off-campus via the VMWare Horizon Client. Please see our blog post for more details.

Thomson One users need to use Internet Explorer and disable their browser popup blocker before starting a search.

  • Type your company name or ticker into the Thomson One search box to open its Overview. Filings can then be accessed via the ‘Filings’ > ‘Company Filings’ option on the right of the top menu bar (see below).

  • The Filings screen will give you direct access to recent filings with an option to search for historic documentation.

Any questions about where to find the filings you need, please contact MIRC.
