Another first for Cranfield alumni: Online access to AIAA Journals and Meeting Papers
23/02/2017
We are delighted to announce that AIAA (the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) have agreed to a one year trial of their content especially for Cranfield alumni through our Alumni Library Online (ALO) service. We are the first university to have sought and negotiated access for alumni! Until February 2018 you will have access to most of the AIAA journals from 2008 onwards, and to meeting papers from 1963 onwards. The journals included are:
- AIAA Journal
- Journal of Aircraft
- Journal of Guidance, Control and Dynamics
- Journal of Propulsion and Power
- Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets
Because this is a trial, we are very keen to hear your feedback on how useful this resource is to you. Contact us at libraryalumni@cranfield.ac.uk to comment.
How to access your free ALO service – a quick guide
- Go to your alumni portal – https://alumni.cranfield.ac.uk/Security/Login.aspx
- Log in with your account (see advice below if you have forgotten your login)
- Click on the down-arrow next to ‘Alumni’ – this will display the full range of alumni services
- Click on ‘Alumni Library Online’
- The homepage for ALO will then be displayed – click on a heading to access a section e.g. ‘Databases’
Acceptable use of ALO
Please remember that all ALO resources are provided to alumni free of charge for personal development and are not to be used for commercial gain or shared with others.
